Recipe for Success
Simplifying the art of bread making and marrying it with our love of the grill, this 5 ingredient Sourdough Bread on the Grill recipe from our friend @amerryrecipe is a game changer!
Ingredients:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour or bread flour
- 1 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
- 3 teaspoons sea salt
- 1 unfed cup sourdough starter
Combine ingredients the night before (no kneading), cover, and let it sit out overnight. The next morning, fold the dough a few times and shape it loosely into a ball. Fire up the grill to 400-450 degrees.
Place the dough in a round cast iron or enamel dutch oven lined with parchment paper, score the top of the dough and cover the pot.
Bake on the grill over indirect heat for 25 minutes. Remove the top of the dutch oven and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes.
The final internal temp of the bread should be 206-210 degrees.
