The Best Decision Of 2021

Since the pandemic began, many people (including myself) have dedicated themselves to achieving new personal goals and dreams. There is not a universally “correct” path, but the following points have helped me tremendously (even before the pandemic), and I hope you get some benefit from them as well:  

• My life changed forever the moment I allowed myself to be vulnerable and speak truthfully about my dreams, goals, fears and limitations. When you do, you’re more likely to hold yourself accountable for your actions and more likely to discover the next step forward.
• You have one shot at life. Live it. Do something today to help you take one step towards your goals, even if it’s a small one. Don't be afraid to stumble: doing is always better than not, and know that happiness comes from the process of taking positive action toward your goals...not simply reaching them.
• The fragility of life is real. Tell people how you feel no matter what.
• Happiness + spreading joy = success

Following your dreams and working to make them come true is hard. Surround yourself with people who genuinely care about you and want you to succeed. But also remember to slow down and enjoy the small moments with family and friends. This balance makes every struggle worthwhile and every success magnified.
