Chef John O’Neil, the “Dude” behind Dude, Fire, Food, has some amazing stories to tell, and he’s telling them in the tastiest way we’ve ever experienced! A long-time friend, and now a partner of Fifth & Cherry; John launched his spice company in early 2020 and is pairing his diverse background in the professional culinary world with his love of high-quality spices to help you “elevate your home-cooked meals to chef-level”.
In addition to his honed culinary skills, Chef John is mastering the art of cooking with fire and sharing his techniques and recipes with all of us through his Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok channels. And while his techniques and flavors are sophisticated, John is extremely down-to-earth, humble, generous, and even a little goofy. His way of teaching is easy to understand and his passion for food and flavors is infectious. In addition to his online videos and tutorials, John hosts private dinners where you can experience his food and hear his mesmerizing tales in person.
We met John at the World Food Championships several years ago where he instantly fell in love with our boards and had to have our F&C 36”. John was the first to order the board after we debuted it at the competition. He loved the construction, the steel reinforcement, and how we refinish all of our boards forever free of charge.
